DERIC Beta Terms of Use
DERIC is a read-only document indexing and retrieval tool. It is designed to search, index, summarise, and retrieve information from files, but not to intentionally edit, move, rename, or delete source documents.
You must only use DERIC on drives, folders, and files that you are authorised to access and process.
You are responsible for protecting confidential, personal, commercially sensitive, or otherwise restricted information accessed through DERIC.
You are responsible for compliance with applicable data protection, confidentiality, employment, records-management, and information-security obligations when using DERIC.
DERIC may produce incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading outputs. You must verify important results before relying on them for operational, legal, regulatory, financial, safety, or employment decisions.
DERIC is beta software and is provided for evaluation and operational assistance only. Features, outputs, and behaviour may change without notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DERIC is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free performance.
You must not use DERIC for unlawful access, unauthorised monitoring, credential harvesting, deliberate privacy violations, or any activity that breaches your organisation’s policies or applicable law.
You must not copy, redistribute, reverse engineer, or attempt to bypass licensing or access controls except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
Access to DERIC may be suspended or revoked at any time, including for misuse, licence breach, or beta closure.
Additional admin terms
If you sign in as an administrator, you confirm that you are authorised to configure DERIC for the selected drive or folder, and that you are responsible for user access, local security, and governance around the indexed data.
